FRANCHISE AGREEMENT FORMULATION
From the beginning, the franchise company knows more about its franchising philosophies and its franchise system than does the hotel owner with whom it is negotiating a franchise contract.  We can help put the hotel owner on equal footing with the franchise company in negotiating the best possible franchise agreement.  No matter what your level of expertise in the areas of franchising and lodging, we can help.

TERMINATION / LIQUIDATED DAMAGE CLAIM NEGOTIATION ASSISTANCE
The flag chosen to represent your hotel may not be delivering everything you had hoped or perhaps your property defaulted on your franchise agreement and was terminated.  Either way, we can help you negotiate and reduce the amount of liquidated damages you may owe to a franchise company.  We will negotiate termination arrangements that are fair both for you and the franchise company.

EXPERT WITNESS & MEDIATION SERVICES
No other independent hotel executives have the expertise, experience and excellence in performance that Steve Belmonte and his Associates can bring to the table.  In any dispute, we can help you represent your point of view whether it is in a courtroom or in negotiations with lawyers.  We are able to guide you through the pitfalls of any litigation or potential litigation.

LITIGATION SUPPORT
Our extensive experience, and our database of information that includes historical information on a variety of hotel issues, means that we can help you in any litigation, whether or not you already have hired a lawyer.  Whether you are the plaintiff or the defendant, call us.  We can help.

MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKING
Steve Belmonte has been a featured key note speaker at many industry functions such as as Best Value INNS annual convention (3 times), Suburban Lodge annual conference, Hostmark, Noble Hospitality, Hospitality International, the Washington State Hotel Association, and many more. Steve Belmonte is the right choice to help you on the path to success.  For more than two decades Steve Belmonte has had a unique ability to deliver the message about a winning approach in any service industry.  Forceful and dynamic, Belmonte will bring value to any gathering where company owners, operators and employees need to learn more about customer service, retention and employee motivation. Few speakers today carry the message with such passion.

FEASIBILITY STUDIES
We are pleased to offer in-depth Feasibility Studies for franchised and independent hospitality industry projects. Our staff has prepared 100’s of studies for over 50 different franchise in the past 20 years. The financial community has never denied a project based on our staff’s study. If the findings, delineated in the Feasibility Study, come to fruition, the project will be successful.

SITE ANALYSIS / MARKET STUDIES
We can assist in identifying potential sites for hotel development. The Competitive Supply and Sources of Demand are factored to identify the specific hotel franchise to meet the projects success. If the financial community warrants a full hotel Feasibility Study, then a portion of the fee to perform the Site Analysis, is applied to the Hotel Feasibility fee.

Tough Question Requires Equally Tough Answer

Is it time to invest in improving your hotel? Industry vet Steven Belmonte says you’d be crazy not to. Here’s why.

WINDERMERE, FLA. — FEBRUARY 11, 2010 — “Are product upgrades and renovations really needed during hard economic times?”

That’s a question I used to get asked a lot. But, as always, things change—and, obviously, not for the better, at least economically speaking these days. And so the question has changed. In these almost unprecedented hard economic times, the question isn’t so much whether a renovation is needed—rather, it’s whether a renovation is, first, viable and, second, whether it’s a smart thing to do.
